The Potts Creek Lodge Resort (the “Lodge”) is a conceived as an integrated condominium resort project to be constructed on an approximately 25-acres of land within the Mayan Plantation along the Potts Creek.  When completed it is expected to include a 120-unit condominium hotel with two crescent-shaped, fresh water, white sand lagoons.  The Lodge property is ideally located for easy development along an existing road into the Mayan Resort from the Northern Highway at the northern border of the 1,000-acre Mayan Resort.  The Lodge is an easy thirty minute ride by car or boat from the Belize International Airport.

Access to the Lodge will initially be via car or boat (to preserve a sense of exclusivity and privacy).  It is anticipated that the Resort will provide a full range of activities and amenities including: scheduled transportation services to the International Airport, Belize City, and the Cays (which are a “jump off” point for diving and boating activities and are only 30-40 minutes away by boat); food and beverage service; diving, fishing, birding, and canoeing guides and tours; a gift shop; and recreational and meeting facilities.

It is anticipated that demand for the Lodge and its condominium units will be high based on the current and increasing number of tourists visiting Belize and the currently inadequate supply of rooms to accommodate this demand.  This demand for vacation facilities in Belize has been fostered by the advertising efforts of the Belize Tourist Board and ever increasing international recognition of Belize as a developing tourism destination.
